Transfer tape, also known as application tape or “pre-mask,” transfers your weeded vinyl designs from their carrier to your chosen surface or substrate. It is important to choose an appropriate transfer tape for the type of vinyl you are transferring.
If your transfer tape is too strong for your vinyl, you will have a difficult time transferring it to your chosen surface or substrate. On the other hand, if your transfer tape is not strong enough, it may not be able to lift the vinyl at all.
